I am not long back from an assignment. I managed to capture a Photograph that has been on my "wish list" for a long time.

    A classic! Love it!

Do't know if it's something you object to, but I'd be tempted to add a little more canvas left and bottom. The fisherman feels a bit crowded, while the image evokes wide-open spaces and a sort of loneliness.

    Thanks Diane,
I never object to adding canvas or enhancing an image...not sure it is needed ...but will play around and see how it feels

Simply stunning Peter! I love B&W images. Anything else than what you did here would ruin a masterpiece. Perfect timing on the "net Cast". A great anchor point as well. The boat in the right side back gives perspective. Well done.

I like everything about it, except I am on the fence about the grain... a bit contrived maybe?

Thanks Dan , .... my reasoning for adding noise during Editing is about the final print, All of my Photographs are prepared with that in mind...with so much space in image especially sky some images can look flat and boring especially without clouds adding grain adds a timeless quality and give a tactile quality when printed on heavy matte paper. I printed both with and without grain...and I just loved the print with grain...It is all subjective...but not contrived...

Top class imagery Peter - so simplistic, effective and beautiful. Love the tones and I personally love the grain too...
Hope to see more of your recent work too!
