Great balance between the angle of the bird and the wave coming in - fun shot.

From a tech perspective, maybe a little hot on the whites on the breast, but a shot I like a lot

Hi Mike, you're right it was a little hot. I posted the wrong one. I notices exactly what you saw and corrected it. Thanks for viewing and commenting. Hoping your trip to Florida was fun and fruitful.

Great image of this little bird with a lot of character. I like the slightly OOf waves in the background with the bird standing out well. I might be tempted to take about an inch from the top to place more emphasis on the bird. TFS

Much nicer whites in the RP Joe.

Florida was awesome, especially around the Clearwater area - I could definitely live over there. Do you know anyone who wants to hire a lens carrier?

    THe repost looks better Joe.
I love the pose. I think you should call it "Drunk again!"
The balance in the comp is perfect with the wave being about a 1/3 of the way up from the bottom.

    Well done mate.

I love the pose and angle of view on the bird....the plumage is nice as well, as the breeding plumage is coming in. I like the size of the subject in the frame...You must have been grippin and rippin to get the Sanderling this sharp at 1/1250...they can really move fast in this type of scenario...A very fine image sir. Repost is of course better in terms of exposure.
