Taken at Rondeau Ontario, where there is a nesting pair.
It is still hard to get them close by as your movement is very limited by boardwalks and trails.
    Thanks for looking.

Wonderful detail and quality of light, Karl. Heard several but are very reluctant, at least on that day recently, to show themselves. Well done.

Very nice looking bird Karl and you captured him well. Lovely colours and sharpness on the bird. Good work

Very well done on a hard bird to capture in the clear up close.

Just a beautiful bird (one I've never had much luck with). The perch is a bit large, but I personally like it. IQ couldn't be better. My only crit. is the HA could be slightly better.

Excellent image Karl! I like the sharpness, exposure, moss and great details.

For me it looks too sharp and I wish the bright OOF patch weren't behind the bird. Otherwise, a wonderful image Karl. HA not a deal breaker for me here.
I cannot even contemplate how to pronounce the English name. The Latin name is much easier for me. :D
