    Default Ferruginous Take off

Went back thru my shots of this handsome raptor and cloned out a very annoying perch in the lower left hand corner. It was a very clear sunny morning and this perch was a little to high to give me a better BG of the surrounding hills so I cropped to a vertical composition to eliminate some of the plain blue sky. Shot from my car window. 1/4000sec, F7.1, ISO 500, D4 600mm Thanks always for any comments for improvement.

I can feel the push up effort in the thighs of the bird. very impressive in my humble opinion.

Such a powerful raptor captured beautifully. Whites exposed very nicely and good composition.

    Great shot

This take off pose is terrific and what a capture of this elusive raptor!!! Exposure, wing position and talons all look great!
