I am pretty sure this is a juvenile from the lack of color.

Cute, messy looking fellow. Appears to have been eating some berries. Your bird is nice and sharp with good exposure, and eye contact. I find the background to be busy and bright, would work on this in post.

I knew someone would comment on the background but I have spent the last hour digging through my hard drives and i cant find the original to edit the background , so this is the best i can do with this one .
