    Default The Large Bee-fly

    The Large Bee-fly on flower (lungwort).
    5D3 + Sigma 180 f/2.8, 1/1250, f/8, ISO800, hand held on the ground, natural light.
    PP: NR of BG, tone adjustment, selective brightness.
    Total photo size: 3180 x 2107 pixels.
    Date: today, Medvednica mountain.

    A very difficult shot to get perfectly. I think it is nearly there, had you been able to come round to the left a little more I think the plane of focus would have been better.
    I know this is easy to say from where I am sitting, but I still think it is otherwise an excellent shot.

    Thanks, I agree. I didn't use my tripod and the slope of the ground was an issue to get better angle and stable shot.
