Hi everyone. I just joined this site, but have been shooting wildlife 10+ years. Someone recently mentioned that this site may be the best place to go for info on shooting in Florida, so here I am.
I'm planning on a 3-5 day trip to central Fl the 3rd week of March, and hope to get a few suggestions. I love to shoot from my kayak, but don't really want to take it unless it will greatly increase my chances. Right now I'm planning on hitting Viera, Ft Desoto and Gatorland, but don't think I need the kayak for those spots.
Target birds include everything although Great Blue Herons, Osprey, and eagles are easy to come by here.

There are a lot of people here knowledgeable about FL birds. You might get more views if you post a request in the Regional group for US - Florida (the last forum on the page). Maybe also in General Photography.

It's not by areas, but it's pretty easy to sift through and find out what you need and it's pretty current too.
