Beautiful bird. I would get rid of the center branch and do a little noise reduction on the BG if it was mine.

Very nice bird, well captured.

it is a beautiful bird, I love the colors. The image quality isn't that great, bird is soft and the BG is quite noisy which could be fixed with better post processing

Congrats on your first post. These beautiful Todys are tiny things, not easy to capture. You've managed to get a pretty clean view of him. I would second most of the commentary above: in particular the center branch is distracting and might be worth an attempt at removal; and the noise could be addressed in post. I don't know what you cropped out, but I'd be tempted to make him just a little smaller in the frame.

Anthony,
You have got image of beautiful and colorful bird here. I have edited your image and recomposed it. Hope you won't mind.
I hope you could do it better way than me with your original RAW file. Hope you will like it. Seeing this cute bird for the first time. TFS.
Regards,
Satish.

Gentlemen, thanks for all the comments. As this is my 1st post, I'm not sure how to reply, but taking your comments, I have re-worked the photo,. I must admit that post-processing is not my strong suit, so please excuse the errors. I have tried to remove the background noise and recomposed the frame, removing the offending twig.
As always C&C welcomed.

I'm amazed you got as good an image as you did shooting at 3200 ISO. What camera and lens were used?

Shot with Pentax K-3 with DA*300mm + 1.4 HD TC. At 69, this is the largest kit I can carry in the field!
