These heron was hunting between the grass and I purposely left the OOF grass in front of the bird to keep the feeling of how the bird really was stalking a prey. I'm not sure if you guys think it is distracting or not? I felt that as long as the grass didn't block any area close to the face that it would work.

I like that you got so nicely close to the bird and get this image with the details in the plumage. I would prefer the mage "clean" without the OOF vegetation between you and the bird. TFS
I like what you were going for, but I would have either preferred more thickness in those FG grasses (especially in lower right corner), or a fully "clean" image. I like the big eye, details. Well composed image. If mine I'd try reducing the yellow colour balance a tad (adding a touch of blue).
Just playing around with this image and I did a brower scroll up from the bottom and turned this into a pano. Seemed rather dramatic and different to me, and gets rid of that hazy green. What do you think?
