    taken in Costa Rica about a week ago.

    7D, 180mm, 1/250, f/5.6, ISO 1000, manual, spot meting, HH - darkened the BG a bit

    I love this! I'm surprised at the DOF for that aperture. Was the lighting natural or flash? It's very pleasing, along with the spectacular colors.

    Beautiful macro shot! Colours are super and the natural light makes the image a lot more pleasing

    Great composition and on this one I do like the dark BG

    I love the bright colors of this frog against the dark branch and background. The diagonal composition is strong and looks natural. Super image. How did you get the dark bg?

    I took this image against a dark BG. Using a luminosity layer (dark-dark), I darkened the dark BG even more. That is all.

    These black backgrounds - love them or hate them, in this case I think it works spectacularly well, the colours in the frog are stunning - well done on the processing this is an excellent image.
