Red-breasted Merganser

This red-breasted swimming in the Gulf surf on Fort Myers Beach. I flipped the image horizontally, did a little cleanup, brightened the eye, lightened the BG a bit, and added a little canvas on the right. Any C & C appreciated.

I love the pose here, and the drop falling off the wing tip is really cool. To me a one or two degree head turn towards us would have been so good with the light coming a bit from the right (from the catchlight). Nice details, colours, and processing.

very nice light, good pose and I also like the low angle. A bit too large in the frame and I think it can take more sharpening.
