Photographed this juvenile Peregrine Falcon while 3 juveniles were having fun chasing one another. Cloned out the bands.

That must have been fun for you also! Nice opportunity grabbed. Great BG to set off its color. Pretty sharp for that shutter speed.

Hi Binu, excellent flight pose showing the wingspan and fanned tail, and you nailed the eye contact too. Good feather detail throughout, and Im amazed at the sharpness of such a fast flyer with your slow ss. The BG compliments the Falcon nicely. Well captured.

    Hi Stuart; Willie,

Thanks for the comments! Sorry, that's a typo. The SS was 1/1250.

Binu like the way this bird seems to be staring at you, very well caught.

Pretty awesome frame! Love the extended wings, fanned tail and just love the head angled directly towards the viewer.
    BG compliments the bird nicely.
I feel the feathers on the belly need a bit more contrast or sharpening. On my monitor it looks as if there is a film over the chest on the top side near the wing.
    Might be my eyes!
Lovely image and I would be thrilled to have this in my files,
    Gail

Fine work, Binu. Such a fast bird and you executed your image very well. I'm finding the composition a bit off....bird feels cramped in the frame and a bit of a squarish presentation. I would experiment a bit and see what you think.
    (A personal choice, of course)

Great flight capture, with terrific eye contact, nice BG. Even 1/1250s seems slow for such a speedster, but you nailed it. Well done. Also seems a bit cramped for my taste.

    Thanks everyone for the comments!

Stuart, Thanks for fixing it. I appreciate that!

Thanks Gail! I'll try to selectively boost the contrast and sharpen the feathers on the belly.

Thanks Arash! Yes, this was taken at Point Reyes.

Bill; Grace, Thanks for the suggestions! I'll play with the composition.

Super shot you couldn't have asked for a better head position, my only suggestion would be to lower the brightness on the legs and feet - just a little.

Love the pose and the HA on this beautiful juvie. The colors and the BG look great too. I feel something is wrong with the chest and neck as they appear a bit soft ? Maybe just a bit more selective sharpening. Great capture Binu.
