Brown Hooded parrot strikes an acrobatic pose going for a fruit offered at this pre-made setup in Costa Rica.

    Tripod

More clean up than I normally would do, but I liked the pose and tried to salvage it. See the next pane for the before shot.
Not sure if there's anything I can do about the moire pattern.

    C & C appreciated.
    Thanks.

Wow That's a superb bird indeed and very useful "cleaning up" too. I wonder abouttaking the shoot out top right. I would either leave it or take it all. Superb job removing the left branch.
    Well done.

    This is sick...
I am not sure I have seen a better tropical image.
The PP on the OP is excellent, your cloning of the branch is remarkable, I can never do this.....
After you posted the FF, I can imagine numerous comps, including the FF minus the branch with everything else left in.
Terrific Photography from start to finish....

Great job cleaning this image up. I would never have known. The pose is superb. Since you have already worked on the image, I would considering removing the brown portion of the vegetation going out of the frame.

Hi Sid, well, you have really outdone yourself here. Brilliant IQ, and the detail and colours just pop so well throughout the image. Cool pose, and what a nice perch you created for this setup. Great job on the clean up. Congrats on this fine image.

This is terrific. Love the pose and the colors and the IQ. Great PP work. I agree with Marina about cloning out the brown bit off the moss.

Wow Sid, this one is awesome!! The pose is a crack up and such a classic pose for a parrot , I can see Buckwheat doing one right now ;) The techs and details look perfect and the setup perch and BG are beautiful.. One of the nicest frames I have seen in a while... Full of color and fun.
If mine, I would clone the branch hanging down by an inch or more to mimic the hanging bird as apposed to it leaving the frame. Thanks for showing the original because I do a fair amount of this type of cloning and repair work so I know exactly what it took to do this, this clean.... Killer work Bro!!

Thank you all for viewing and for your generous comments.

Great tips on cloning some more and I'll also look at other comp options.

    Thanks again!
