    Hi Ian, I like the feel of this image as the BG looks like something out of a mission to mars. You also got good detail on the bird and an inquisitive look to go with it. I would consider adding more canvas to the bottom and ideally would have liked the head turn to be to the right (and not slightly to the left as in this image). But these are small considerations and are subjective. Thanks for sharing

    Very intimate portrait Ian. Nice and sharp. You handled the exposure nicely, as that bright BG can really throw things off. I'd prefer either more of a profile or the bird looking right at you.

    Hi Ian, great low shooting angle, good DOF on the Turnstone, sharp, and agree, seeing more of the head would have been great.

    The IQ is excellent Ian.
    I would like a bit lower pov but still good as is.
    I would select the ocean in the BG and boost the blues a bit,
