I like the wing position, open beak, exposure and perch. Nice behaviour image Robert.
Gorgeous lighting, color and detail!
Great shot of great birds! Am I imagining a touch of green in the yellows on the birds? I'd remove the piece of branch on the RHS.
excellent interaction and pose, good exposure. I don't see a color cast but I'd sharpen the birds more

Grand action you've caught here Robert. Can't say more really. Good stuff.

Great pose and detail in the wings, I think you could get a little more detail in Ozzie's head though.
Wonderful timing. All in all the colors look a bit too rich to me.... Especially in the reddish brown tones of the wings and the perch tree. Perhaps pulling the curve up on the dark and middle tones would help. I actually like the extra branch behind the birds. Back in a minute....

Ah, I thought of the term I was looking for, the colors and tones looked a bit dense in the ORIG.
Lots of changes for the repost.... Let me know if I overdid anything.
If anyone is interested in anything specific that I did, ask away.

Great interaction, prefer the repost sharper and more detail in the shadows.
Yes, better shadow detail. Always interested in what you did. Pulling up the curve, or a bit of Detail Extractor?
Thanks Diane. I pinned the curve at the top and then pulled it up a bit. All on a Layer and then reduced the Opacity for fear of over-doing things. Then some Digital Eye Doctor work and a Contrast Mask on the two faces. Then I de-saturated the REDs ten points for the whole image. No NIK at all :). I used a large Quick Mask along with a Regular Layer Mask to paint away the junk in front of the trunk.
Then I added canvas left and skillfully missed a small section lower left...
All of the above detailed in Digital Basics, plus tons more.

Thanks for the comments guys. Artie thanks for taking the time to show me how to make it better. I have a more in the series to process, Hopefully I can improve. Sadly I woke up this morning to learn that the Elder of the two eaglets had unexpectedly died over the night. The same thing happened last year. I can only hope that the remaining Eaglet thrives, and successfully fledges.

You are most welcome. Good luck to the survivor. It might be hard in some places to feed twins :).

What a great display and behavior you caught Robert. I love the males pose with the flared wings and the open beak. Techs look good but I do agree with a bit more sharpening. Very cool capture!
