Well I suppose I am scraping the barrel a bit here, this is an image I took some time ago, I have not been able to get out for the last 5-6 weeks and it may be some time yet but who knows I may be able to sneak an hour or so in my garden hide if it gets just a bit milder!
I have posted at 1000px size, processed in DPP, I used the dropper tool for white balance, all comments welcome.

Beautiful frame with a nice pose and a great looking colorful BG. Not sure if the web works for me since it is so straight and liner and cuts through the heart of the colorful BG. Well done.

Great frame Jonathan, li like the natural frame, the multicoloured BG and the super image quality, well done. If anything I may be tempted to take some off the left and the top. TFS

The bird and BG and perfectly sized perch make for a wonderfil image. I am not crazy about the spider web thread personally.
If this is scraping the barrel then you are doing something right!!

Really like everything about it but the spiderweb, just think it takes more away then it adds.

Thanks very much for the comments everyone, I made the crop baring in mind previous similar posts - Gail suggested a tightish crop such as this. The spider's web well I can see you guys over in USA don't like it - that's ok but for me, well I think it adds significantly
