    Looks like a loud and perky fella! I like the alert pose and thin perch. Exposure is good, and details nice. The image has two main issues to me: the clipped toe at bottom (I imagine you have no more room down there to add back), and the head angled away. Good job with the colours....

    Thanks Daniel, there was a heap of clutter below the toe so cropped it out and tried to get a better angle but he didn't hang around much. Keeps you coming back to get that perfect shot.

    Hi Charles. These are stunning birds and remind me of the Karoo. I love their rufous cheeks and their cheeky behaviour. I think Daniel has given you the key areas to consider. TFS
