Default Close up of a Blue Tit

Got so many pictures never sure which one to post.

This was taken just after Xmas when I got my Kenko 1.4x. Its handheld again with my 7DMKII Sigma 800mm Lens. From my mothers garden. Wanted to get real detail of the head of the Blue Tit.

    F/8 1/200sec ISO 320

Certainly "in your face"!! It's fun getting to see how close we can get pictures of our avian subjects when we get new toys such as TCs!! The detail is certainly there. I just wish the critical focus point was on, or just in front of the eye as right now it appears to be on top of the head. This would likely have helped get at least the base of the bill within dof. Of course, it is always easy to "armchair quarterback" it after the fact on these fast moving little birds. I am pretty confident that there is more detail to tweak out of the whites and yellows during raw conversion...try the highlights slider.

    Thanks for you advice.

I think I know what you mean, I'm not always sure which is the "best picture" to pick.

I put another one below, is this the kinda thing you mean?

Still learning a lot about bird photography so very thankful for all help.
