    I am posting this for general interest I guess as I have seen few posted here and I had never seen them close up.
    Though they winter on the Oregon Coast, they are always a ways out in the surf.
    I was at the coast taking Landscape Photos when eight of them came in close and perched on the rocks.
    I only had a 70-200, so this is the best I could do. What I would have given to have had my big lens........

    Spectacular image of beautiful ducks in habitat.
    Would crop a bit at the bottom.

    Hi Dan, great that you captured all three in symmetrical poses, and love their colours. Comp wise, as most of the top half of the BG is out of the DOF, I would crop away that part to leave the rest of the image ' in focus' .
