    Here´s a handsome bird!
not everybody love to see how they behave when they are feeding but that is something to discuss in a different forum.
I just want to celebrate the beauty of this bird and their facial patters.

This amazing! Sharp image and beautiful colors. I would like to see another version with a bit less from the bottom maybe just above the black on the wing, even maybe in a horizontal crop (if possible) just to have the focus more on the face of the bird, just an idea, this works great as it is. Beautiful image!

PS. Im planning a trip to Costa Rica sometime next year, hopefully I get to see one.:)

Great portrait Juan! And I like the graduated back drop which gets away from the plain ones we see a lot of. I would eventry a tighter head crop.
Just my two penneth ! What do I know?

Juan what amazes me about these birds when you think where this bird had it's head when feeding if you know what I am getting at ,I know they bathe a lot but to get back to this quality is something else, it's a great portrait ,very well done.

    Cheers Keith.

Brilliant Juan. The subject is great and you have captured it well. I also think a tighter crop of just the head and neck would work but like this crop also.

very nice, agree about a tighter crop also working, but still, love the colors.

I like the details, sharpness, exposure and BG. I have only seen one flying along the pacific coast in the distance. Excellent image Juan.

A beauty for sure! I love the crop as is, and the colours on the face pop nicely against the green BG.

    Juan Carlos:

Amazing colors, nicely exposed. I am with Daniel, like the current crop. I think the darker lower area balances the head against the mass of the whites.
