I like the multi layered look with the vapor to soften it, the extra interest from the two birds ( nice timing on the flap/takeoff) and the exposure that reveals a little detail in the dark foreground. The lighted leaves? behind the vapor add an extra point of interest on the right side.
For me, this image would be stronger without the silhouetted bird in the ulc, and stronger yet if only the duck were farther right! The colors are amazingly beautiful, and the opening in the midst of the mist showing off the tops of the corn/reeds? is wonderful. Sharon
I like the layers, composition, colours and birds add interest. At first I thought I would like the image better if the birds were flying toward the light but the title suggests a fire which the birds would naturally flee from. Beautiful image Arthur.
