Image from Nov. 2013 over a local lake here in NJ. C&C welcome.

    D3s, Nikon 500mm + 1.4 tc, 1/800, f 5.6, ISO 800, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley Gimbal head.

Removed quite a bit of blue reflected from the lake into the wings in cs6.

I realize I'm egregiously late in mentioning my exhibit opening reception ( for those in Hopewell NJ area) 2:00 to 4:00 today at Gallery 14, and will be there through Dec. 14, 2014.

Very nice underside view of the hawk. The PP looks good as well.
I am not usually a fan of this type of image but the direct eye contact really makes this image.

Nice banking turn and eye contact. Lots of details on the underside. Maybe the subject could go a bit brighter even with even less blue saturation on the whites
