William looks like you got close to this bird which is not easy with the crow family, think this is great.

    This is a fun shot.
The number of droplets and the wave of water make this a very dynamic image.
So nice that the nictitating membrane is not covering the eye.
I would eliminate the specular highlight and tone down the bright rock.
The blacks and detail within the feathers are excellent.

What a nice frame. I have not been able to get close to a crow, let alone one that is bathing. While it is tight in the frame, it really works here with alot of impact.

    Nice one William
I find these remarkably tame for a member of the crow family, along with magpies. Nice to see some pool stuff. I,ve only just started at my new set up recently.
    Good work.

Great action you captured here William! I like the low angle, waves, water drops everywhere and composition. Good suggestions by Gail to make it even better.

This image is just fun to look at. The crow has such a pleasant look on it's face, and goodness that alot of water roiling around. I like the idea of toning down the brighter rock? to the left of the bird on the edge of the frame, but otherwise a lovely photograph.

A fun image for sure, the crow seems to be having much pleasure out of its bath!! A bit tight, yes...if the habitat all around was clean then more room would have been nice, but if it was busy and distracting then this up close and personal version is a good compromise. Lots of water action going on here, very nice and refreshing.
