I'm liking the pose and the way the light has fallen here, but am thinking that maybe upping the ISO and shutter speed may have been beneficial, as it looks like there is a little bit of movement in the shot.
I agree with Mike. A higher shutter speed should help next time to freeze the hawk in mid flight. It does seems a bit blurry due to movement specifically around the head.
Agree with the thoughts expressed re: shutter speed. I generally shoot for 1/1500s as minimum for BIF. Not always possible, but I would rather have a sharp but slightly noisy image from pushing the ISO up, vs. blurry but low noise.
Not much you can do about the motion blur at this point, but I would add a bit of contrast (it looks washed out) and also sharpen more if the image will take it.
