    That's an excellent shot Karl.with a lovely pose and POV in really nice light, but it's the timing of the bill near the water with the water droplets that makes it for me

    Karl your time has been well spent, that is a super image, beautiful lighting, great timing and the detail in the plumage is excellent.

    It is pretty neat to see this species set off by some autumnal colours! The whites look great, and the bit of splashing water is a nice bonus. A tastefully presented image.

    Thank you all. I few years ago I lost hundreds of shots of this birds fishing and flying around in this colorful setting due to hard drive crash.
    This time is a redemption for me.
