I saw two of these on a neighbour's roof.
I think that it is a Yellow Wagtail, which is a migrant to the UK.

P.S Don't seem to be able to attach a picture from my computer, only from an URL

Hello
Seems to be a problem with the URL.Picture was there but now not
Here is the link
https://s3.amazonaws.com/masters.gal...366e553c07b637
Perhaps pasting in the image will work?

Hi Mike, you need to be a paying member to be able to upload an image, otherwise you need to link from another site (such as flickr, or photobucket for example). I can't see your image even when clicking the link you posted...can't wait to see it!
Hello
Thanks for the reply.
OK, third time lucky!!

Mike, whatever you did to post the cormorant image just do the same here as it worked
Hello
The host id DPReview and I think I pasted a Large version of the image

Mike
PS The Cormorant does not show in my screen, the link just gives the associated XML.
It is possible that the link referred to a https and why it is a problem
First, I am FAR from competent on wagtail ID, but I have seen several species. This bird looks very slim, the tail looks very long, and the amount of gray on the face seems like too much for Yellow (of this subspecies I have seen ... but they're very complicated little buggers with many subspecies). You might compare this bird to photos of Gray Wagtail.
Hi Mike
I think this is definitely a Grey wagtail rather than Yellow. These are quite common especaiily around the UK's rivers. Yellow wagtails are virtually all Yellow and do not have the grey head.
Hope this helps
Iain
