Hi Andre- Well, it certainly fits the theme! I think it could serve as a model for an alien in a sci fi movie. Amazing detail and sharpness. I presume, like with your other images from the hide, that the red coloring comes from the dirt/dust in the area. I think the bg looks a little grainy and would try some NR on it. Keep experimenting with these close-ups.

I asked Andre to call him "Pinocchio" but he refused...

Hi Andre that is certainly tight .
I like the image design and the PP work you have done .Very nice colors and tones , like the red soil !!!
I actually see no grain , so for me no need for NR at all.
Sharpening does look again very pleasing , at least to me .

I just wish I could come close to some of the processing work that you do and I would be happy. Obviously you have to get it right in the field first. VWD. Great sharpness and detail. Zimanga cbanga

Thank you Rachel, Gabriela, Andreas and Carl

Like Rachel said: "not everyone's cuppa" , but I love it!

PS: the BG is actually the hog's side...

Andre, I like the concept and you have good detail.

I do find the light area on the RHS a little distracting and perhaps just toning it down brings the overall tones together. In king so it acts like a vignette and draws your eye to the eye IMHO. I really like the detail & texture on the LHC and below, like an old weathered leather sofa, but again just bringing some Exposure back in helps to define it more, so going darker gives a nice illusion of 3D. I would though try to tame more the highlights.

In this instance because of the colour I might suggest a rich Quadtone, WDYT?

    Thank you Steve and Anette

Steve your RP is as always a major improvement, and I shall try your suggestions. BTW, how do I do a rich Quadtone?

    Thanks
    Regards

    Andre.
