It was a very good, albeit short fall migration in my neck of the woods for this species. This image was made a couple of weeks back. This is a juvenile bird. Canon7d, Sigma50/500os, iso800, f8, 1/1000, small crop to level the image, NR to the bg and fg, USM to the subject. Comments and critiques welcome.

Shawn Zierman.
What a terrific image.
The light is gorgeous, the IQ excellent, a great shorebird and the walking pose lovely.
You have a great BG as well. Perfect POV.The bird has great fresh plumage as well, which is always a bonus
I know you are not a "cloner" but if this was mine I would clone out the grass between the legs in a heartbeat.
Well done,
Gail
Hi Shawn, love the warm light in this, and well done on getting low for this angle. You have managed a great pose, and looks like if you had less lens, you may have captured a full clean reflection judging by what we can see of the reflected legs.
