Hello everyone! I haven't been around lately because I've gotten into digital collage and I am now trying my hand at painting whimsical subjects with watercolors and acrylics. I have neglected photography this summer as usual because I can't take the heat and humidity in Mississippi! I did get one nice set of images of a tiny fawn and will try to post one of them later when I figure out what I want to do with it.

This is not a photo-based image, but I thought I'd post just one of my collages to give you an idea of what I've been doing. I created this image using elements from 7 different digital kits, all from deviantscrap.com. I have sold 4 of my collage prints to friends, all different ones, but not this one so far.

What a wonderful new path. Has the whimsy and fun art should be. Trust you won't be neglecting the photography, though, as cooler weather comes. I've enjoyed that and learned from you there, too. Have a whimsical, creative day!

Thanks Hazel! I do plan to get back to photography when it cools off some. We might go back to the Smokies in late October.

Very cool and very fun! I especially like the eyes on the female above the unicorn! Glad to see what you have been creating this summer. Don't forget us!

Hi, Judy, great to see you again in OOTB and I love your newly found path. It's definitely been too hot here for photography!

Judy, it's good to see you back. While we've never met, I feel this new style/piece is sooo you! Creative, whimsical, full of color and flair. Love it. Looking forward to seeing more and hope that you are able to do some shooting in the coming weeks.

This looks like a lot of fun Judy, and I like the result. I wilt in the heat too. Glad you're back!

Thanks for sharing. This is colorful and creative. Looks like fun. I, too, haven't posted much this summer--distracted by other activities.

Thanks to everyone for your responses to my painting! I didn't get notices via email of most of the replies for some reason. I will try to post some altered photos soon, in fact I am working on one now.
