Lovely image, Karl. Perfect green BG which really helps this young bird to pop. Good use of flash to help with the harsh light. I tried a crop here that i preferred to this one with some off of the bottom just above the broken off piece and then some off of the right. I find it helps the viewer focus better on the bird.

Nice work Karl, I agree with Marina regarding cropping a bit tighter. Regards, Ian.

A nice image well done in tough light. The steep angle to the bird is less than ideal. The suggested bottom crops works for me.

Nice BG and pose from the bird.
I would crop from the bottom and sharpen the bird a little bit more.

    Thank you all.
I modified the crop, darkened the mid tones, used linear burn at a few spots and had some extra sharpening done all in the bird.
