    Default Greetings from Down Under

    Victoria, Australia to be precise. I've been a member since 2010 but don't know that I've ever introduced myself and I know I haven't participated a real lot. Thought I should rectify that.

    I live in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges which is about 50km east of Melbourne. Surrounded by bushland, rainforests, lakes and mountains, it's a great place for watching the birdlife and animal life around here.

    My love of bird photography began not long after I shifted into this area, nearly 5 years ago and I get lots of practice, with all the varieties I see.

    Welcome to BPN Kathie!
    I know the area you live in and agree you live in a wonderful part of Victoria. We lived in Melbourne for a year ( before I got into bird photography) and spent several weekends in the Dandenongs.
    Would love to go back with my gear now!
