A shield bug sometimes called stink bug. Good focus and limited DOF keeps attention on the bug, the exposure is good and so is the detail in the kitinous body. Yes a nice shot and good composition too.
We get them here in UK but I haven't seen any in that colouration. I have been looking out for the hawthorn shield bug and birch shield bugs in my back garden but not seen any yet.
