Thank you John. Yes I agree, the leaf could be the issue I left the leaf just to keep the reality. Cheers! Miro.

Wow that's a real beauty the DOF is almost perfect, the highlights on the right wing tip appear just a little hot.

Thanks. Could be, it's pure from raw, histogram is OK, I did the NR of BG only. Cheers! Miro

    Hi Miro,
Capturing an open wing shot of small butterflies can be quite a challenge. Well done here. I notice some blurriness in the lower wings but I think you did quite well to capture this subject as is.

I like the detail and the leaf does give an indication of perspective.

Highly appealing colour combo here! Love everything here, except that extra leaf, but man this is beautiful.

Thanks. Yes DOF was limited due handhold to avoid shaking motion blur, furthermore BG would be different too. Cheers! Miro

What a beauty Miroslav. I am with Daniel, I would remove the leaf. Your Mazarine Blue is very much like some of the blues we have in Florida. If like ours then the butterfly is about 1/2 inch in size.

Hi Miroslav. This is a striking image with the brightly colored butterfly set against an interesting and colorful background! I like the diagonals in the comp - and the leaf on the left is not bothering me. Excellent work!
