Default Red-tailed Hawk on the move

    Attached Images Attached Images

Had a pretty good raptor season last winter despite the drought and the unusually mild weather we had. The Harriers werent migrating in the usual large numbers but there were allot of Red-tailed Hawks around to make up for it.
This is an adult male flying across the valley.

Thanks as always for looking and for your input. I appreciate it.

Very nice, feels like its coming out of the clouds.

It may be just me but I see some noise on the far wing.

As nice as the bird is, those colors and clouds make this special. Not sure what you cropped out, but I could see a looser version as well.

Hi David, excellent inflight pose, tack sharp, and that light is sweeeet. I really like the colours in the BG too. Your usual high standard.

Lovely image, but my eyes are yearning for some off of the bottom and more on top.

    Thanks again everybody.
Marina, that's exactly how I wanted to compose the image, the way you just mentioned, but there was no more room on top and everytime I tried reproducing the clouds they look like heck
I was going to take some of the bottom to even it up decided to leave it there. Thanks as always.
