    Default Hold Still

You can tell these birds are built for flight. Taken this morning under strongly filtered light ( somewhat cloudy)

Thats a killer shot Enrique. The light was your friend on this on , for sure. Nice even coverage of the bird without any shadowing. The pose, the color, the detail and the BG all make for an exceptional shot. One of your best. Maybe a bit looser comp? Nice capture.

This is a real stunner...the image and the HB! The conditions were perfect for this bird as all details and colors show so nicely. Angle is perfect and a great perch and BG. If you have a tad more room, I might also consider a slightly loser comp which isn't saying that I don't love this comp.

I have to agree with all the positive comments made above.
The details in the plumage and the colors are superb.
I am in the camp for a slightly looser crop but like this very much as well.
One of your best shots Enrique,
    Gail

Wow, one of the best perching images of a Hummingbird I have ever seen.
An image to be proud of.

Hi Enrique, striking iridescence on this HB, tack sharp, and I like the comp as is. Congrats on a fine image.

    Thanks all for your comments.

I reprocessed it again, giving more room for those that wanted to see it that way. It may be slightly different in PP in case you see a few things different besides the crop.

I just cut myself looking at those way sharp details!! Great colours too. I like the repost's extra space but I would have left that small leaf on the perch in...

Incredible IQ, incredible details and a beautiful individual. I'd have the small leave in the image too. I really wish it was mine!
