My first Topaz was "Detail" back in 2009.
Used to use it most of the time but as a jpeg user I now use "Dejpeg" most often with "Adjust" frequently.
However I still go back to "Detail" usually on "Feature enhancement 1"preset in "Creative Detail" collection if feather details are a bit flat.
I now have Detail 3.2 which you can find thro" Google in Darcy's blog.
You could have a free trial and see if you like it.
    Cheers: Ian Mc

    Hi Linz,

We have missed you and I'm sure many folks were wondering if you were OK. Best wishes for getting through!

I haven't used many of the Topaz programs -- I have several but never really got comfortable with the sliders. But a lot of people really like them. I'd check out their tutorials and try the demo.

I have Topaz detail but I don't use it. I find routine processing in CS6 6 and sharpening as indicated in the Wildlife forum works just great. For prints I use PIXEL Genius sharpening. I did use Detail for a spell but found it unnecessary. I suppose it's OK for special effects but I tend to keep my processing routine for a "natural" appearance, I am not very creative!
