    Colin,

    A neat perch to say the least. Great detail (especially considering that lens wide open at full zoom!). Never seen an eye like that before.

    I see a dark halo around the perch and a bit around the bottom portion of the bird. Not sure if it's part of the original or some PP artifacts.

    Super interesting bird and perch. I agree with Miguel regarding the processing. Worth reworking.

    What a very neat eye this species has. I agree with the previous critiques, and I also wish the head was angled the same as the rest of the body. Sharp details and good BG.

    Hmmm, not sure where that halo is from as I didn't need to do anything with the BG. But iti isn't in the raw image so will have another shot at it. Thanks.
