    Nice in flight shot, like the wide perspective on this to give it a hint of the habitat. Upper right corner has some PP artifact.

    Hi Jim,
    Eye catching because of the unusual BG. I am wondering what you did to the BG post processing ( if anything at all).
    I like all the space you gave the owl.
    Owl is nice and sharp and the wing position in nice and symmetrical but my personal taste would like wings fully up or fully down,

    The BG is a combination of vegetation, Cypress trees growing from the lake bottom, water of the lake, and sky. The only thing done to the bg was noise reduction.

    Very nice one Jim!
    That BG has so much colour, just love it. Of course the BG makes the owl to stand quite nicely, very cool image.

    Jim, another great owl post!

    If it were mine, I'd reduce the saturation in the background a bit.
