am new user of 7D I have some question and confusion about custom setting


C.Fn III -1 – AI Servo tracking sensitivity


slow when taking the birds flight and action shots and normal when normal shot


C.Fn III -2 – AI Servo first/second image priority


I am bit confuse here too which is suitable for bird in action and the bird on purging


0: AF priority/Tracking priority
1: AF Priority/Drive speed priority
2: Release/Drive speed priority
3: Release/Tracking priority


I use 0 or 1 in case of bird in action please suggest me the which one is right


C.Fn III -3 – AI Servo AF tracking method


0: Main focus point priority
1: Continuous AF track priority


0 for bird on purge and 1 for bird flight




but when I have shot burst; I get only 1st 2 or 3 images sharp other are flat.
I am doing something wrong?


i need some more information about the C.Fn III -4 – Lens drive when AF impossible

suggestion are strongly appreciated

Doug Brown gave this very good advice on the 7D, which I have used, and find the setting to be as good as any
