I took this the other day just before the weather turned really bad…
The Gorge is basically closed right now (blizzard conditions), I hope
to go again after the storm.

Hi Dan - I think this is my new favorite of your forest/gorge scenes. Nice placement of the waterfall. The icicles really add to it. If it were mine, I would reduce the cyans.

Amazingly lush and green, yet cold. Next time you go there'll likely be big changes.

I love the icicle elements. The path seems to lead out of the frame on the left, but does it come back in at the bottom? If the path does make a circle, I'd like to see that. If it doesn't make a circle and come up where you're standing, then I like to get rid of the ambiguity, but I can't tell you how. Sorry.

Hi Dan. I like this composition, with its contrasting colors and textures. And it's so unusual to see lush greens punctuated by frozen elements. Very nice.

I'm with Rachel here - great image, well thought out. Ditto on the cyans (very slight, easy to tone down).
