    Default Ruby Crowned Kinglet

I get out regularly to shoot. First year photographer and birder. I took this shot yesterday of a Ruby Crowned Kinglet. Anxious to contribute to the forum. - Arthur

Thanks for picking up on this, Randy! I've been traveling and have had limited access, and just now clicked into this post.

I'm on my laptop tonight and am not seeing the best view on the Flickr link. I think I'd like to see a "clean" version posted here to be able to comment better. I should be back home and on a real monitor in a day or two.

Hi Arthur- I've taken a look at the Flickr image and I like it. There's good sharpness, colour, and I like the composition (may take a little off the right). Too bad there's not some element in the upper right to balance the image better- right now it's all basically at the lower left half. The main issue with the image is how dark it is on my calibrated display. If you process on a non-calibrated display with full brightness, others viewing with their brightness turned down, like me, will see a dark image.
