    Just back for a recent road trip. this image was taken at Sossusvlei Namibia. Raging wind conditions made shooting difficult. Mnage to capture this hiker at summit of Dune.
    nikon D3S 70-200mm @200mm f8 1/1500 iso 320 handheld.

    Welcome back Peter. I am especially looking forward to some Etosha pics in the Wildlife section
    This is very nice - ethereal and moody...as we've become accustomed to from you.
    I like the high key sky and how it offsets the scene in the FG. The hiker really adds some perspective here.

    Very interesting composition/image here. I too like the hiker and the feeling he is struggling in the wind.. Nice balance of black on white.

    Super shot Peter - it is amazing how that hiker first draws you into the frame. Excellent detail and tonal differences.
