Part of the sky near my home today was most unusual. There was a relatively thin layer of clouds in which it seemed to me that a hole had been cut, to reveal blue sky above. I grabbed my camera, and drove around country roads until I found a vantage point that I thought provided an interesting forground to complement the sky.

I chose the scene shown here, which provides harvested corn stubble, standing corn that has yet to be harvested, and trees.

All comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
