Is this tripod enough for a canon 500mm f4 and wimberly head.

I use that tripod with the canon 600 II and a Wimberley II head for over a year without any problems.

I've got the 3541LS and it works great with my 500 and Gimbal head. I've seen it used quite a bit with this combo
