Hello, we finally had a calm day to play around with some flowers in the yard. Shot about a week ago. I hope you like it. 7D, 100-400 at 100mm, tube extension, f/4.5, 1/1600, iso:800, tripod. Gary

I like it, Gary. I enjoy abstract macro work. Maybe bring down the highlights a little? I'm struggling with the DoF--since most of the petals are soft, those that are sharp (esp. lower left corner) keep pulling my eyes out of the frame.

Wonderful inside POV with nice graceful lines and saturated colors. I do agree with Mitch about bringing down the highlights some, especially along the upper edge. Instead of staying with the stamens, my eye follows that bright line in the back petal and up to the very bright yellow.

I like it my only criticism would be that the tallest stamen is not quite in focus.

HI Gary! Nicely seen. I do think you should consider cloning out the bright line that runs through the center at out at the top....too distracting!
