    Or rather, the same bird as yesterday, only this time he's backlit. Once again, he perched further to my right than I had wished, but it did light up his wing nicely.

    D7000, 700mm, ISO 800, 1/2500s @ f/6.3 manual, fill @ -1/7, tripod, audio.

    Nice pose, comp and BG but not a big fan of the lighting on this one.

    Head looks a little soft to me.

    Very nice to see this species featured. The subject pose is sweet, and I enjoy the look
    at the bird's underwing. The head angle is leading me to think a comp with the subject
    placed more centrally, with equal amounts of space behind and in front of the subject
    would work well.
