    What an interesting looking bird!!! I think this is a new species for me. Your exposure looks great and you did a very nice job getting your entire bird in focus. Love that heat turn. The markings on this bird are really special and show up well. I am finding some of the greens in your grasses a bit bright and feel the bird would stand out even better if they were reduced a little.

    Great bird, a new one for me too. I like the low angle and grassy surroundings. Not sure if the image has a bit of a cast or not, but I get a feeling that adding a bit of red to the colour balance could be good.
