Brown Anole on Sanibel Island, FL. Wasn't sure about the crop on this - that is all the room I have on the left. Did some smoothing on the BG.

I should have also mentioned that I used fill flash, 580 EX II.

    Hi Allen.

This is a most interesting critter, from one of my favorite places. The background is great, and the color, sharpness and posture of your subject are all excellent. Very good work.

But while you mention that you have no more room on the left, is there more on the right? I'd love to see all of this interesting animal!

Hi Norm. Thanks for the comment. I did not take a full body shot as I really wanted a close up of the throat extension and focused solely on that.

Hi Allen- I like the crop because it shows the dewlap so well. You have to be ready and fast to get this behaviour. Super background too. The image is sharp but I would turn that up a notch (I tried it and it worked well).

Nice one, the Red fan shows nicely against the green BG , no doubt you were only focused on it
    Love it

Hi Allen. Nice job capturing this display! I also like the comp and background and the fill flash puts it over the top. Very well done!

Hi Allen, very nice capture. I found it tricky to get them with the colorful dewlap exposed when I was in Jamaica a while back. I also agree on turning up the sharpening a touch especially on the dewlap and around the eye. Nice one!
