    My oh my that is just stunning in every respect, John!!
    The colours, composition, slight compression factor at 55mm, tonal clarity...love it.
    Denali is high on my to-visit-in-Alaska list...I hope I can make it there someday to see these scenes for myself.

    PS: might tone down the brightest whites in the clouds a wee bit

    Morkel, and Rachel - thanks for the kind words. Here is a version with the brightest clouds toned down a "wee bit". The original jpeg was from my TIF print file. Enough reduction?

    Stunning image John! I like the colors and the smooth look of the mountains. My only criticism is that there isn't more of this gorgeous landscape in the frame!
