    Hi Fred,

    You did well with the head turn and catch light. The crop is too square for my taste and there is very little space behind the bird. Perhaps a wider crop would help!

    Very nice,,,,,,the detail, color and bg are good along with a nice pose. It may be a bit tight in the frame, but that's a matter of taste.

    Nice details in the bird Freddy! Nits have already been discussed. You might consider a copyright that doesn't take up quite so much space in the frame; it tends to draw my eye away from your beautiful photo of a quail.
